Hassan Deeb

Facilitator Details:

Hassan Deeb is a lawyer with over fifteen years of experience in the humanitarian field. He began his career with the Syrian Red Crescent in 2008, volunteering in relief and first aid activities. Over time, he gained extensive experience by working across various humanitarian sectors, including shelter, logistics during emergencies, warehouse management, and psychosocial support, with a strong focus on livelihood support.

In addition to his field experience, Hassan became a Listed Sphere Trainer in 2023. This followed his involvement in organizing and co-organizing many different training sessions for staff members of various local organizations, covering sectors such as relief, health, and financial management. Hassan’s training efforts are aimed at helping new humanitarian workers understand the Sphere philosophy and apply it correctly in different contexts, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of their response to humanitarian crises.
